Tennessee S3DA Appoints New Regional Coordinators in Middle TN Region

Tennessee S3DA has over 300 active student members and more than 150 trained coaches. Tennessee S3DA recently showcased their amazing growth at the TN Indoor State Championship, where over two-hundred and forty-eight archers gathered to compete, which was the largest number of competitors in the event’s history. In light of this substantial growth, TN S3DA has named Jesse May and Brandon Hardy as new TN S3DA Regional Coordinators. As Regional Coordinators, Jesse and Brandon will assist with the development and operation of S3DA within the middle TN region, including educating and recruiting parties interested in forming new S3DA clubs and teams, coordinating with the TN S3DA State Coordinator and attending and assisting with all TN State events and National events, when possible.

Jesse is a long-time archer who became involved with the 4-H archery program at age 10 and later progressed to hunting in his teens. Jesse has been involved with S3DA since 2017 and is currently a coach with the S3DA club Muddy Bayou Archery in Gallatin, Tennessee. He and his wife, Beth, are often seen working at local and regional events helping wherever there is a need. Jesse currently holds the S3DA Basic Instructor certification and will be working to obtain the Advanced Instructor certification.

Brandon has been involved in archery and hunting since the early 90’s assisting in his family owned firearm and archery shop and working on his family owned quail-hunting preserve. Since that time, his love for archery has evolved. Brandon became involved with S3DA in 2017 and is currently head coach for Stones River Archery in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Brandon has vast experience in organizing and executing some of the largest regional events in Tennessee. Brandon currently holds a USA Archery Level 2 certification, as well as S3DA Basic Instructor certification.
