S3DA Names Zuber as Washington State Coordinator

Scholastic 3-D Archery announces Zac Zuber as the S3DA Washington State Coordinator. Zac will oversee all aspects of the S3DA program in Washington including tournaments, trainings and the division of the state into regions. Zac will be the inaugural State Coordinator in Washington and he currently looks to build a team of 8-10 Regional Coordinators. Zac said that finding Regional Coordinators that already have interest in the industry and youth will not be hard to find, as the state of Washington is very much a family activities and outdoors oriented state.

Zac Zuber grew up hunting, fishing, camping and spending quality time with friends and family in the great outdoors.

Zac’s full-time job entailed being a bulk explosive operator, but his dream was to one day become a commercial fishing guide. He met his fiancé, McKayla, and unknown to him, she had serious connections in the archery industry. This led him to end his pursuit of a job as a fishing guide and 100% of his attention went straight to the archery industry. In 2018, Zac quit his explosive operator job and purchased a brick and mortar store front, that quickly became TNS Archery Outdoors. With the support of McKayla and his family, they have managed to turn this small shop into a force to be reckoned with. Zac and McKayla run the shop with their focus being on a family-environment archery shop. Zac and McKayla are both Hunter Education Instructors, they teach archery lessons and actively competitive in Indoor and Outdoor shooting around the United States.

Through their contacts in the archery industry, Zac was notified of the S3DA program and what the program wanted to do in the Pacific Northwest. Zac had a very good understanding of how the state needed to be broken down into regions from his experience in the past with baseball. Zac then got big plans for the state and decided he wanted to take on the role of Washington S3DA State Coordinator. Zac’s short-term plans include starting at the club level and establishing S3DA clubs with existing archery shops, churches, sportsmen clubs, etc. His long-term plans include extending the number of Regional Coordinators to cover the state and by providing more S3DA leadership and coaches trained, Washington will be able to obtain more clubs and start-up teams throughout the school districts.
